Ian is without peer in Australia in the sale and valuation of food processing facilities.

He has unrivalled experience in the agribusiness industry, having been involved directly in the sale and valuation of 2000 food processing facilities in Australia and New Zealand.

Ian is recognised as an industry leader and is acknowledges for his contribution to the meat processing sector, in particular during the rationalisation that took place between 1980 and 2000.

He is an Auctioneer and Certified Practicing Valuer and has been National President
and Board member of the Auctioneers and Valuers Association of Australia.

In 1993 he became a member of the Australian Property Institute and is a Certified
Practicing Valuer (Plant and Machinery).

His valuations have been widely used by government, the courts, industry and financial institutions.

David Purtle

David grew up in north-western NSW where his family had mixed farming and stock
and station agency interests. For over 15 years David worked in the family stock and station agency and was involved in some of the most significant livestock transactions in NSW.

On moving to Sydney, David joined Hambros Equities as a Stockbroker advising
clients on buying & selling Shares & Options listed on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX).

For the last 30 years he has been engaged in property development, real estate sales and valuations, plant and machinery sales and valuations and business sales and valuations. David has specific expertise in the sale and valuation of agricultural assets including
post farm gate processing facilities, large scale feed lots and Water Licenses. He has particular experience in multi-site large scale, vertically integrated “paddock to carton” production and food processing facilities.

His valuations have been widely used by the Office of State Revenue in various jurisdictions, the Australian Taxation Office, the Family Court, the NSW
Government, financial institutions, ASX listed and private corporations.

David has been a sheep and cattle breeder and has only recently sold his family
property “Springbank” near Cootamundra in the NSW Southern Tablelands. In addition, he is the architect, developer and joint-venture partner in “Harrington Gardens”, an $80 million housing development project.

David is a Fellow Member of the Australian Property Institute, Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and a Member of the Property Institute of New Zealand. He is a past Board Member of the Auctioneers and Valuers Association of Australia and a past member of the NSW Stock and Station Agents Association.
